Omega Quintet Box Art Revealed

Amazon Japan has updated their listing for Compile Heart's upcoming Idol JRPG for PS4 Omega Quintet with previously unseen box art for the game. This box art includes both the standard and limited editions of the game, with each featuring different artwork.

Below is the Standard edition, which features Otaha and Kyouka from the Omega Quintet Idol group. The boy on the cover is the game's protaganist, Takuto:

And this is the limited edition cover, featuring a very sweet photo of all of the Idols:

For those wondering, the limited edition copy of Omega Quintet includes the PS4 game, a Special Booklet, Special DVD and a Drama CD, along with the limited edition packaging.

Omega Quintet full trailer and screenshots revealed!

The full trailer for Omega Quintet (as opposed to the teaser trailer I posted here) has been revealed on Compile Heart's Youtube. The trailer extends the song played in the teaser trailer and reveals the girls names: Otaha (red dress), Kyoka (blue dress), Aria (purple dress), Nene (orange dress) and Kanadeko (green dress). Siliconera posted a great article, with translated character descriptions from the Famitsu game reveal. You can check that out here.

(side note: their outfits remind me of a cross between Sailor Moon and Madoka....which is pretty much every magical girl fan's dream)

Omega Quintet is scheduled for a September 18, 2014 release in Japan (no localisation news as of yet...yet dammit) on Playstation 4. You can pre-order the standard or limited edition of Omega Quintet (Japanese) from Play-Asia.com.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection available for pre-order in Australia!

For fellow Australia's who thought that they would be importing Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection, I have good news! The game is available now for pre-order from both JB Hi-Fi and EB Games websites. There are no pre-order exclusives, but it's nice to know that a kooky game like this is coming to our shores.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection allows the player to play music producer to the girls of Gameindustri. Honestly, they had me at songs and stage costumes, but the game will also feature a story and the ability to level up the girls Idol abilities. I'm dumb amounts of keen for this.

The game is coming to Australia on June 5th, 2014.

Idol x RPG "Omega Quintet" Trailer for PS4

Omega Quintet has been announced by Famitsu and Compile Heart's Galapagos RPG for PS4 to be released in Japan on September 18th 2014 (no word of a localisation as of yet). The game is to revolve around monsters that appear to be called 'beeps' that are affecting people's minds. The game's protagonist is called a 'verse maiden' and has the power to stop the beeps. I'm guessing that since a verse could be a 'verse' from a song, that's where the Idol group comes in.

I'm pretty sure I've been waiting for an Idol RPG since birth and I cannot wait for this. On PS4! Yes!!!
